The Power of Sharing Your Gifts

“Though my life is over, I am closer to you now than I was ever before.”

From “Hello from Heaven” by Chelsea Hanson

It was 3:30 a.m in the morning and I heard my phone ring. It was my little sister, Erin, and the first thing she said to me was “Shelley I’m so sorry but Dad died at 2:40 a.m.” He had been successfully recovering from a very long surgery (14 hours) and was just starting to get up and walk around when he suddenly had a pain in his side and his blood pressure dropped. They worked on him for about 40 minutes before his heart gave out and he passed away. Even though prior to him going into surgery I had been given a message in my meditations that he was going to be passing on AND I received spiritual information about why–it was still such a shock to me.

The truly miraculous thing about this was just in a few hours I was going to be meeting with my Private Platinum Client, Chelsea Hanson, who is a grief expert for a day long VIP day!!! Chelsea’s Mission is to transform the way people are comforted during the grieving process–her Mission also is to bring Spiritually based perspectives and information to help people understand their loved ones passing. I knew that I had to meet with Chelsea–even if it was for a brief time because I knew it was a divine unfolding that we were to meet that day.

I have working with Chelsea for awhile helping her to develop and expand her business “With Sympathy Gifts” and the comforting grief books she has written. I was a huge fan of her work but it wasn’t until I was a direct recipient of her gifts that I fully got the power of the work she is doing on the Planet. When Chelsea and I met she shared some wonderful resources for me and my family–many of these things she offers in her on-line gift store where she hand-picks every gift that is on the site.

The other thing she shared with me is her book “Hello from Heaven” that she was was divinely inspired to write after the loss of her Mother, Donna. She said that this would be comforting to me and my family plus was often read at the Memorial Service.

I brought the book to my family as we gathered to process the transition of my Dad. We passed the book around you could just feel each person shift as the comforting, spiritual message of the book was transmitted. Here is a line from the book: “Though my life is over, I am closer to you now than I was ever before.”

I ended up doing the eulogy at my Dad’s funeral–I wanted be able to honor and celebrate the beautiful qualities of my Dad’s loving Spirit. The funeral was a sad but very joyful at the same time. I read Chelsea’s book “Hello from Heaven” which is written like it is being spoken by the person who has transitioned.

We had SO many people coming up after the service asking for a copy of what I had read. They said it shifted how they were experiencing the grief of the loss of my Dad and wanted to have a copy of it on hand for themselves to read again. Just a few weeks ago I stopped by my Step-Mom and Dad’s house and the neighbor from across the street waved me down and said “Shelley, do you have a copy of what you had read at your Dad’s funeral, it was so comforting”.

Look at how my life was transformed by Chelsea sharing her beautiful gifts and the ripple effect of ALL of the lives she is helping by sharing her gifts. This experience helped me get at such a deep level that you have to do whatever it takes to build your Holistic Business to get your gifts and your message out in the biggest way possible. You never know who was struggling last night that is searching today for the unique gifts you offer. I don’t want them to miss out on what you and ONLY you have to offer!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and the resource. I am a neonatologist and coach and have been holding back sharing my gifts with the world. Most recently I have been exploring palliative care and neoantal death as part of the programs for moms and dads. This is confirmation.

I have had the great pleasure of working with Chelsea also and powerfully endorse her as a person of spiritual integrity. The gift of herself through her written words and products will surely benefit those in need.
